Book Review: Race To The End Of The World

Race To The End Of The World by A. L. Tait. This is the first book in The Mapmaker Chronicles and from beginning to end it really held my interest. Quinn lives on a quiet farm with his family. His older brothers may long for adventure, but Quinn is happy. That is until he is chosen by The King to attend a school which teaches boys to be mapmakers. Quinn prepares to embark on a long journey after he is chosen, along with three other boys, to create the first map of the world. He and his crew - including the stern Zain and his friends Ajax and Ash - sail across the world in search of new lands to map, but can Quinn keep two very big secrets from the rest of the crew?

I love this book and can't wait to read the next. It really is a cliff-hanger. I would recommend this book for boys or girls ages 8-14. An epic read.
