A Doctor Who Review: A Town Called Mercy

                           Synopsis

The Doctor lands the TARDIS in the town of Mercy in Nevada, 1870. Expecting a warm welcome, he is surprised to discover that the locals are hostile to strangers. He finds that they are under threat of the mysterious Gunslinger who won’t let anyone leave the town. The Gunslinger demands the life of Kahler-Jex, the local physician. Will the Doctor be able to save the villagers from the Gunslinger's rage?

My Thoughts

This was an excellent episode with a great plot. I also loved the setting and some of the sub-characters. I think it would be a great episode to start on for people who haven't watched Doctor Who before. A thrilling episode.
